Bonsai Gems began as a simple craft experiment. I saw a crystal tree that caught my eye. Like most things that inspire me, I immediately wanted to try making my own and see how I could elevate it. From there, it grew into a small creative project: I added a custom stamp, photographed the pieces, built a social presence, and enjoyed shaping its visual identity. But at its core, the real craft was in making the trees themselves.

As a graphic designer, creating the digital layer has always been part of the fun, and I love weaving those skills into whatever I’m building. With my limited bandwidth, I tend to move through these projects quickly, learning what I want to learn, finishing the idea, and then carrying those new skills into the next creative pursuit.
