Inside my Sandbox

My creative sandbox is a collection of the projects, passions, and ideas that inspire me beyond my everyday work. It’s where I experiment, explore new skills, and follow the threads of creativity just to see where they lead. Some of my best ideas start here.

Exploring Ideas

  • How Many Hearts Do You Have?

How Many Hearts Do You Have? is a heartfelt tale about unconditional love and a hero's greatest strength. This story emphasizes the importance of kindness and the power of empathy. All illustrations were done by Monika Marzec.

  • Lunar Paints

Lunar Paints is an exploration in watercolor paint making with mica powder and homemade binder medium. Creating the packaging was a separate exploration that allowed me to work with 3D modeling and 3D printers.

  • Bonsai Gems

Bonsai Gems started as a handcraft experiment working with natural raw crystals and wire. I was able to also explore working with a light box and product photography with this project.

  • Naked Tonics

Naked Tonics is a collection of homemade herbal tonics including elderberry syrup, CBD lotion, and seamoss gel. This was a combination of culinary & packaging exploration.

  • Mrs. Z's Busy Bees

Mrs. Z’s Busy Bees is a joyful children’s channel that helps young learners explore emotional regulation through music, vibrant visuals, and imaginative storytelling. Throughout this project, I learned video recording, green screens, video editing, and YouTube studio’s platform and analytics.

  • Navigating the Noise Podcast

Navigating the Noise is a podcast created to support parents, educators, and caregivers of neurodivergent children through practical tools, compassionate insight, and real-world guidance. This project was all about podcast setup and recording as well as working with RSS feeds and Youtube.

Avery Dylan Photography & Design

Named after my first born niece and first born nephew, Avery Dylan Photography & Design is where my passion in fine arts first moved into a digital space before starting a career in graphic design.

Photography has always complemented my design work, shaping the way I see color, composition, and the emotional impact art can evoke. I see the world the same way I dream—in vivid colors and raw emotion.
