Lunar Paints

Lunar Paints began when I stumbled upon watercolor-making influencers and became captivated by the beautiful iridescent pigments they were creating. Discovering that I could create my own paints with mica powder sparked a deep curiosity, and soon I was experimenting with endless color combinations.

As I explored the space, I noticed that many influencer paint brands had packaging that didn’t quite match the magic of their products and just wasn't living up to the same quality of the paints. That gap inspired me to “make it better", researching the market, refining the brand aesthetic, and ultimately designing my own paint container using 3D modeling and a 3D printer.

I’ve always had an innate love for the cosmos and astronomy, and the shimmering pigments instantly reminded me of galaxy-like imagery as such as the Milky Way and Andromeda. That inspiration guided me toward a lunar, mystical brand aesthetic that captured the magic of the paints while remaining simple, unobtrusive, and aligned with the target audience.
