Event Designs

My experience in the event industry spans nearly every angle: catering and service, AV and technology, account management, planning, and design. I began my events career as an Account Executive for an AV start up (cross collaborating amongst hotels, event coordinators, and the AV team), but even before that I had designed and set up smaller events ranging from bridal and baby showers to wedding décor. Having also worked in a catering hall and in the food and wine business in my younger days, I was fully immersed in the event world and experienced it from multiple perspectives.

Working alongside an AV team on large-scale investment banking events gave me valuable insight into behind-the-scenes operations from technical production to vendor coordination. During this time, I designed graphics for digital displays and holding slides, helped prepare event agreements, and collaborated closely with event coordinators to bring their visual concepts to life. These experiences eventually opened the door to more medical and patient advocacy events, where I took on a larger artistic and design-driven role.

Today, I handle the full suite of design needs for an annual awards ceremony focused on minimally invasive gynecologic surgery and women’s health. My responsibilities range from PowerPoint presentations and event signage to step-and-repeats, retractable banners, table tents, and full program booklets, along with various special requests throughout the planning cycle.
